This is another relic of the American 5th Army in Italy, Truscotts men!
This is the remains of a roadside sign, the legend "Convoy No…" is only visible along with what appears to be the 5th Army badge.
It was thrown into a trash heap only to be unearthed and saved, a unique relic of the Italian campaign.
