The German assault gun above is a Sturmgeschutz III Ausf G. It is emplaced on the Bulgarian, Turkish border. The reason for this can be found by reading here. Apart from the missing engine and some obvious parts being taken this still represents a superb example of German heavy metal from the later part of the war.
