Above: This is another vehicle restoration project that is already underway in Germany. Marc Schumacher is the new owner and he is looking for parts!!

As Marc says himself, much of the front end is missing. He is looking for front mudguards, radiator, bonnet, bumper and a 6 cylinder engine!

At the moment he is restoring the cab, windows and seat. Next the woodwork for the rear load space will be tackled. He is hoping to finish it in a late war scheme; yellow with brown and green stripes.

He is also thinking of perhaps converting it to a Maultier (mule) version. If any visitors know of a track chassis going spare then Marc will take it.

Incidentally, the Maultier version of the Ford V3000s used an V8 cylinder engine to drive those front sprockets of the tracks - so Marc may need to find a bigger engine!!

We hope to show photographs of the finished restoration - should take around 9 months he hopes.

If you can help with spare parts or technical assistance then you can contact Marc directly at this address; marc9schumacher@web.de
