Norman barns can be a source of some interesting relics. One such typical building is shown above. Next to it a couple of the items found nearby. Top is the business end of an M1924 stick grenade. When found this still contained the explosive charge, also clearly showing the waffenamt markings and stenciling. Much of the green paint is also present. |
